Hand-Crafted
Artistry and a Piece of History
Maintaining Old-World
Traditions
When you purchase a
Whitehouse Brothers ring, you receive
a piece of art and history. Each piece
is hand
crafted by a team of artisans
that have great respect for the old-world
traditions of filigree jewelry making.
They’ve researched the styles
and methods of the past and strive
to recreate pieces that embody the
spirit and soul of the artists who
first created them. In addition to
engagement
rings and wedding
rings, Whitehouse Brothers offers
a line of pendants
and earrings — perfect gifts
for special occasions such as birthdays
and anniversaries.
Quality and Craftsmanship
Whitehouse Brothers’
designs are carved from a single piece
of precious metal. The individual
design determines how a stone is held
into the head of each ring. Most center
stones are held with prongs or filigree
beads, and some rings feature diamonds
that are set into a channel of metal
or bezel setting. Each setting style
combines with unique detailing and
design features that determine the
size and shape of the stone that can
be accommodated. For specific information
on which ring can accommodate your
stone choice, please contact
an authorized retailer in your area
or use the search tools above.
Whitehouse Brothers
maintains high standards of quality
in the creation of each piece. The
artisans who skillfully craft each
item complete an in-house apprenticeship
— learning and perfecting their
trade. Each piece of jewelry receives
considerable attention, passing through
the hands of up to six experts. For
instance, the “jeweler”
smoothes the cast ring, cuts the intricate
filigree patterns and drills holes
for stones; the “polisher”
brings out the brilliance of the metal;
the “setter” secures diamonds
into the mounting; the “engraver”
embellishes the ring with its organic
detailing; and the “polisher”
once again brings the metal to its
full luster. Each ring is then hand
inspected by Joe Vogelsang, owner
of Whitehouse Brothers, before it
is released to your retailer.
